Boston Civic Summit a Success

Civic Engagement Summit and now 400 spent their Saturday at yesterday's Boston Civic Summit. Co-chaired by City Councilor Maureen Feeney and James Rooney of the Mass. Convention Center, yesterday's event united civic activitists from across Boston's neighborhoods. read more »

Voter registration deadline for the February primary election
Submitted by Andrew on Thu, 01/10/2008 - 08:48.Wednesday, January 16th is the last day to register to vote and change party enrollment for the 2008 Presidential Primary. The town/city hall will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to facilitate voter registration. In towns with fewer than 1500 persons, voter registration sessions will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' webpage here for further information, or to download a voter registration application. read more »
Boston Civic Summit Planned

The plans are being discussed by Boston City Council President Maureen Feeney, and the initial focus appears to be on address the low turnout in recent City elections. read more »
