Vikings first signed rookie was Ryan D’Imperio

The Minnesota Vikings have totally eight newly-drafted players to sign, and the first of them to receive a contract is fullback Ryan D’Imperio, who previously played at linebacker in college.

D’Imperio impressed the team with his obidience to officials and ability to make smooth transfer from linebacker to fullback.

The other seven draft picks are also expected to receive contracts during the offseason. Some of them may have to work harder than others to stay in Vikings jerseys for their rookie season.

Toby Gerhart will not be available for OTAs as he is still attending classes at Stanford.
