On October 22, 2006, 90 Milton civic leaders participated in a Leaders' Workshop to engage in honest, respectful discussions about real changes in our town; discuss how to make those changes work for everyone; discuss how to keep Milton a highly appealing place to reside; generate interest and ideas for beneficial and meaningful changes in Milton. They brainstormed over 200 action ideas. On November 29, 2006, a follow-up Public Forum was held at which four new Resident Task Forces emerged: "Welcome to Milton" Program; Dynamic, Enhanced Milton Website; Neighborhood Activities to Promote Interaction; Youth Program / Dialogue Around Teen Issues.
