About Me: I'm a computer professional, a system manager specializing in Unix, Linux, and MacOS X with experience with other operating systems, a programmer, and an instructor in computer use and system management for students ranging from beginner to expert. I'm an avid bicyclist, was president of the Charles River Wheelmen, a local, recreational bicycling club, and served for ten years on the Cambridge Bicycle Program which strives to promote bicycling as transportation for environmental and other reasons in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I'm interested in languages (as in human languages), politics, world events, and more. To top it off, I'm interested in all areas of science.
